Company History

Since its inception in 1993, Symons Fire Protection, Inc. has been a full-service fire-life safety company. Symons’ history continues to develop alongside its quality service offerings in Southern California!

IGNITION

Symons’ history begins in 1993. Our company was founded by Dave Symons and owner-operator Tod Emery, who envisioned a bright future for their establishment. Mr. Symons built his company on quality and customer service – traits that became more evident through the years.

GROWTH

After 15 years of leadership, Dave Symons sadly passed away in June of 2008. Mr. Symons left behind a legacy of excellence that we emphasize to this day. After Mr. Symons’ passing, Tod Emery took on the role of President. As a result of Mr. Emery’s leadership, Symons grew to become one of Southern California’s leading fire-life safety contractors.

BURNING BRIGHT

Following Mr. Emery’s retirement in 2019, then vice-president Jamil Shamoon became President. Mr. Shamoon continues to lead our company toward a bright future. Thanks to Mr. Shamoon’s leadership, Symons Fire Protection is part of the NFPA, AFSA, BIA, and other various associations.

In addition to our president, our team wants to serve our customers well. We hope to offer the best customer service available in the fire protection industry.

As a Tyco Fire Product premier contractor, we use the industry’s highest-quality products. We also use materials from Reliable, Viking and BlazeMaster.
