"We had leaking from the top of back security door frame. At first thought it was the roof. Had a roofer out but we both decided it was from the ceiling sprinklers! Flo from Symons (who installed the system in 2007) came out & immediately cut a square from the laundry room ceiling & located the leaking! He fixed the leak as well as replaced the regulator. He explained exactly what he was going to do & how much it would cost. He left the ceiling open so it could dry out & explained the piece of ceiling could be put back later. We have a gentleman who has done a lot of work for us & we will contact him. The water dripping from the frame stopped by noon the next day! What a relief! Flo was very professional & kind & fully explained what he would do & how much it would cost. He did all he could to protect our home & left it very clean. We very much appreciate him!"

"Flo from Symons Fire Protection was awesome on so many levels. First, background...I have owned my home for 11 years, and it has indoor sprinklers (over 23 years old). The water pressure was always 190 and we had to constantly bleed the pipes to get the pressure down. 5 years into house ownership we had a plumber (mistake) help try to fix the high pressure (didn't work). Then recently we developed a leak (outside fortunately). Flo, came in quickly identified the problem, and in just over an hour had put a regulator valve in, fixed the leak, assessed our system, and did preventive maintenance. He taught me more in a few minutes than I have been able to figure out in years and from the internet. You got house sprinklers? You got issues, Symons Fire Protection is the "go to" company. "I had a terrible fire sprinkler leak in my garage. It was literally dripping down my walls! I called Symons Fire Protection and spoke with John, and he was able to arrange for a technician to come out within an hour due to the urgency. He was so nice and courteous on the phone! Florencio came out to fix the leak. He was so knowledgeable and explained to me exactly what was going on. He promptly fixed the leak and even took videos to show me where the leak was. I am super grateful that they were able to fix my leak so quickly. Their prices were also very reasonable. Thank goodness for such a wonderful team!"

"I selected Symons based on reputation and not based on price although right there. They did not disappointment. The inspector should me how they did not cut corners and provided added value. I also had John Acevado come and perform the finish trim. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and great to work with."

"This company is fantastic! They know what they are doing. We have a modern house with no attic, and they were able to install the sprinklers, so they actually look nice and don't stand out. Also, they were competitively priced and extremely professional, especially John Acevedo. He is an excellent communicator and went above and beyond looking out for our animals and being patient with all the activity at our house. I would highly recommend this company for your fire sprinkler needs."

"I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of my interactions with this company in the last week. The initial phone call was professional and friendly. I then received a follow up call from Brian who was extremely courteous and helpful in answering all of my questions and got me scheduled in a very reasonable amount of time. "I am a realtor and the buyer's inspector found the fire sprinkler pressure was too high. I called them yesterday after being referred by a friend. They asked a few questions and gave me an over the phone quote. Their technician Flo was out this afternoon. He had all of the proper parts and was done with the repair in about 90 minutes for a little less than what I was quoted. This is the kind of service that deserves 5-stars."

"If I could I'd give Tod and Jamil 10 stars. Customer service is quick and very efficient. They know residential fire sprinklers. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere. Another "commercial" company recommended Symons and I'm glad they did. It's not often these days when an honest and competent company responds to your concerns and truly cares. I had a high-pressure situation with my indoor fire sprinklers at my house. The problem was resolved by Tod and his crew professionally and efficiently in a very timely manner. I would and will recommend this company to all my friends."

"Don't bother calling around; they all refer you to Symon's because they're one of the only ones that work on residential fire sprinkler systems in San Diego County. I had a great experience, they responded to a leaking sprinkler emergency, diagnosed the problem, had all the parts on the truck and quickly made the necessary repairs. Flo then walked me through my system so now I fully understand how it operates and know what to watch out for to prevent any future problems. "This was the only company that had an easy way to connect to an emergency tech. Mark came out same day to repair the broken fire sprinkler pipe in the attic. Yes, there had also been a flood earlier that day. We didn't want to wait until Monday for water. Mark was friendly and worked quickly. Thank you!"

Flo was on time, took time to explain how the system works as I came along during his inspection. "Outstanding response and service. Over the Memorial Day weekend our intake pipe at our townhome community exterior closet sprung a leak and water was going everywhere. Called the "Emergency Line Number" and a human actually picked up! A very talented technician was immediately sent out to fix the problem and it was fixed perfectly. This company is excellent and our new "go to" for all things related to fire sprinkler maintenance and repairs."

"Symons response time could not have been better. Contact over the phone was near immediate, and a technician was in my home within about 45 minutes to examine water dripping slowly from a fire sprinkler. After checking out the ceiling sprinkler and surrounding pipe, he was fairly convinced the leak was from something unrelated to the sprinkler piping but continued his investigation until finding the source. He then went up into the attic and found a pinhole leak in one of my plumbing pipes about 4 feet from the sprinkler where the water was dripping from. The water from the leak was streaming down some plastic where its low point was at the sprinkler. He did what he could to temporarily redirect the leak for collection to avoid further damage (above and beyond his call of duty) until the plumber arrived to fix the pipe. Top notch service and thorough. Thank you."

"I had a suspected leaky fire sprinkler/pipe in my home and called Symons Fire Protection. I asked to have the sprinkler system inspected/tested and repaired (if needed) and Florencio arrived to perform the service. Florencio was extremely knowledgeable about my system and did an outstanding job explaining how the system worked and told me how I should test the system myself twice per year. He went to the attic and found a very slow leak in the piping and repaired it right away. He also replaced one of my fire alarm bells that wasn't working. He had everything I needed on his truck and did a great job overall. I would definitely call Symons again if I had a problem and give them a strong endorsement. The prices were very reasonable, and I learned a lot about my fire sprinkler system as well."

"Florencio came through for us! One of our check valves on our fire sprinkler riser went out, pouring water everywhere in my garage. After minutes of trying to find the water valve to my house we were able to shut it off. Word of advice, know where it is for emergency purposes. My wife and I then called around shopping for quotes and seeing if the company could even repair it. Symons not only gave us the best price, but they didn't hesitate to come fix it on a weekend. After Florencio fixed the issue, he gave me a quick training on how it all works and explained the maintenance that needs to occur in order to keep the system running at its best. Definitely recommend these guys for any job."

"I don't even know where to begin. Tod and the team at Symons were just amazing. We were hosting 11 people in our home at the end of August and found ourselves with a leak in our our fire sprinkler system. I called Tod after a frantic Google searching, having been told by our plumber and a "leak inspector" that they weren't "authorized" to deal with it. While Tod's team couldn't come out right away (it was almost the end of the business day on a Friday), we were scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Meanwhile, a chain company came out quoted a ridiculous amount of money to do the work (it required breaking the slab in the driveway). Since we rent our home, we asked them to put their estimate in writing so we could send it to our landlord. They never sent it. Monday morning comes around and Symons isn't joking. Florencio was at my door at 8 a.m. He dug and dug and dug for nearly 5 hours, and at almost 2.5 feet below ground, we discovered the source. Tod kept checking in with us throughout the day and, even at a point where we thought it may not in fact by the fire sprinkler system, Tod asked Florencio to just get the job done in order to help us. They checked on us in the evening after hours, and were there again the very next day to make sure the pipe was dry/repair was successful and completed the job. They were professional, courteous, compassionate, and committed. And, in the end, the job cost only 1/3 what we were quoted by other companies. Tod, Florencio, and Symons went ABOVE and BEYOND our wildest expectations. I would recommend Symons in a heartbeat.

"Noticed the leak from my sprinkler system's main pipe in the garage in the morning. After a few calls, I was finally referred to Symons. Tod said he would do his best to have someone come out that day, and he did! Florencio was very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional, going above and beyond in making sure everything was taken care of, and showing me some maintenance practices that I was not aware of. I believe the charges were very fair. Very happy and satisfied with the service!"
